Actress Go Min Si has become the subject of serious controversy after a lengthy online post alleged her involvement in various forms of school bullying during her middle school years. The post, which surfaced on May 26 on an online community forum, claimed that Go Min-si engaged in verbal abuse, extortion, mocking students with disabilities, and physical violence.
In response, her agency Mystic Story issued an official statement just four hours after the post began gaining traction. “The allegations are completely unfounded and based on false information,” the agency stated.
They further clarified that this matter had previously been addressed and investigated internally when similar rumors first emerged. “We have confirmed directly with the actress that these claims are untrue. We stand by our artist,” the agency affirmed.
The agency expressed concern over the damage caused by the viral post, stating, “The malicious content based on falsehoods is seriously defaming our artist. We have appointed legal representation and are preparing both civil and criminal actions against the spread of false information.”
The anonymous post, titled “We Are Victims of Actress Go ○○”, claimed the actress displayed habitual violent and unethical behavior during middle school. Allegations included:
- Habitual theft of classmates’ belongings and money
- Mockery and threats toward students with disabilities
- Physical violence against female classmates, leading to injuries
- Involvement with delinquent students and rumors of misconduct as early as the first year of middle school
The accusers stated that their intent was not revenge, but to prevent further harm and raise public awareness. They emphasized that the testimony is based on “consistent statements from multiple former students and school staff from Jungri Middle School in Daejeon.”
“It is difficult to believe someone with such a past is now in a profession that receives public admiration,” the post read. “We are not seeking an apology or compensation but call for a halt to her public activities.”
Go Min-si previously faced controversy in 2020 when underage photos allegedly showing her at an adult entertainment venue surfaced. At the time, she publicly apologized, referring to it as “a mistake from her youth.”
The current accusations, however, are far more serious, involving claims of criminal-level behavior and long-term trauma. With public attention intensifying, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold as legal proceedings move forward.
